Ari Wertheimer

Ari serves as the Chief Financial Officer of CapFree Xchange.

Before joining CFX, Ari was the Controller at Sciens Water, a private equity firm focused on investments in U.S. water infrastructure. Prior to that, he spent nearly five years at Chalkstream Capital, a multi-strategy investment firm, where he led key operational, accounting, investor relations, and compliance initiatives across hedge funds, private equity, fund-of-funds, and other alternative strategies.

Ari began his career at KPMG in the asset management tax practice and later contributed to the firm’s mergers & acquisitions tax group.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Maryland and is a Certified Public Accountant (Inactive) licensed in the state of New York.

Outside of work, Ari enjoys playing basketball and tennis, traveling, and spending time outdoors under the Florida sun.
